This is how this idea came into being:

I was explaining to a friend how I love to make 3-panel comic, but they are hard to write. So as an example, I made this one up off of the top of my head.

1. Guy is hungry
2. Someone gives hims money
3. So he eats it

I don't know the words in English, but the first panel tells the "background", next comes the twist, then the punchline. And the camera gets just closer.

And the idea is "twisted" also. Very nice comic.

Great! Very funny and also plays on the whole issue of whether beggars are really just hungry or whether they're going to spend your money on drugs or whatever. Reminds me a bit of the bit in Horse Feathers, the Marx Bros film, where a degenerate-looking man comes up to Harpo and says, "Say, buddy, could you help me out? I'd like to get a cup of coffee." so Harpo reaches into the folds of his coat and produces a steaming cup of coffee, which the man accepts with little grace.

Anyway, good as usual. :D

that's funny. I myself am a Marx Bros. fan and if I had to choose a favorite, I'd go with " A Night at the Opera".

Harpo's coat is a lot like Mary Poppins suitcase.

That's a good 'un, but you can't really beat Duck Soup. Plus the romantic couple in A Night At The Opera are really irritating, as romantic couples usually are.

agreed, the romantic subplot blew.

Now "Duck Soup", is that the totally insane one about Freedonia? If so, that is easily the most lucid and bizaare marx bros. film there is.
